Closed eyes, blue skies, white lies, colour skinned face, untied shoe lace…
They scramble for an African dream with patriotic lines.
They travel a world without boarder lines.
Imprisoned by political minds, they seek justice in a capitalist society.
Their reality is your nightmare. Imprisoned within her own land.
Bleeding nothing, but love for her unborn child seeking refuge in her womb.
Blank thoughts, endangered her words. Speechless she had become.
Her success held up at ransom.
Surrounded by male minds playing an off- beat melody.
Like the sound of a naked drum.
Patriotism is her enemy. Apparently she had asked silence to marry her,
Silence please like a writer’s block she couldn’t write.
Deaf ears could hear but hers couldn’t. Skewed lines represented her condition.
The doctors gave up because feminism was the solution and silence her destruction.
Like oblique rays she was off frequency.
Its hurts to be there but un-noticed, it hurts being straight but known as bent.
She learnt "Even silence can break her heart”.
Destructed by silence like Eutrophication.
