Everlasting scars scattered across her soul,
She looks at me,
I feel the anger brewing in her heart,
I see her obese heart,
I see pain in her eyes,
Who did this?
Her dreams slowly melting into space,
Her value in this world, diminished.
A tortured heart, bleeding love.
She looks into a mirror, she sees
A worthless being.
She is drowning,
Her own tears are killing her,
She screams for help,
But she is inaudible.
Perplexed children, weeping in despair,
The meaning of happiness,
Thrown into oblivion,
They are living under a dark cloud.
Suicidal, she is ready to meet her maker.
She sees her little daughter, light bulb moment,
Who will protect her against in this atrocious world?
Fuelled.
She fights for survival. Victorious she will be.

Let’s make the world a harmonious place for all by taking a stand against abuse. This youth month, lets us remember those young people who’ve fallen victim to all sorts of abuse. They will be victorious!
